Tiny Backlog is an ongoing personal project documenting the games I complete through original illustration. What began as a way to explore different characters and worlds developed into a larger visual archive, complete with its own identity, website, and interactive avatar creator.
Building the World
As the collection grew, I developed Tiny Backlog into its own digital experience. A dedicated website brings the illustrations together into a browsable archive, using a simple visual identity and interface designed to keep the artwork at the center.
The system creates consistency across games with dramatically different aesthetics while still giving each illustration space to reflect its source material.
Avatar Creator
The visual language of Tiny Backlog also became the foundation for an interactive avatar creator. Modular illustrated features, hairstyles, clothing, and accessories allow visitors to build their own character within the same style as the larger project.
Extending the illustration system into an interactive format turned a static collection into something visitors could participate in and personalize.
The Collection
Tiny Backlog continues to grow alongside the games I complete. Together, the illustrations, website, and interactive elements create an evolving archive that combines my interests in illustration, visual systems, and digital design.
